Burning CDs with Nero Express on Windows Computers

 

Step 1: Launch Nero Express

 

 

 

Step 2: The Nero Express

 

Click on the "More" button at the bottom of the screen will give you some advance functions such as erase your CD rewritable or the Disc Info.

The "Nero" button next to it is for launching the full feature version of Nero CD burning software. That option is for advance users only. If you're reading this tutorial, you probably don't want to go there.

Use the "Exit" button anytime to quit the program.

 

 

 

Step 3: Burning Data Disk

In the "What would you like to burn?" box. select the "Data">"Data Disc" to burn files to your CDR.

 

 

 

Step 4: Add data to your CDR

In the Disc Content screen, you can add your files to the CDR by either using drag & drop them into the center box or click on the "Add" button near the top right of the screen.

You can remove any files from this screen by highlighting them and click on the "Delete" button right under the "Add" button.

You can also create folders inside your CDR by click on the folder icon on the top right.

Please do not save your CDR project image since all of our computers have limited hard drive space.

 

 

When you done adding all the files to your CDR for burning, click the "Next" button to continue.

 

 

 

Step 5: The Final Burn Settings

In the "Current Recorder:" drop down box, make sure the CD burner is selected.

In the "Disc Name:" section under it, you can give a name to your CDR or it will burn with the default name of "My Disc".

In the "Writing Speed" drop down box, select the fastest burning speed that your CDR is rated. If you're not sure about that, the max burning speed is usually printed on top of your CDR.

If you want to create or use a multisession disc. check the "Allow files to be added later (multisession disc)" option.

The "Verify data on disc after burning" option is basically compares your newly burned CDR to the original files on the computer to see if they're matching each others.

After you have done with all those above options, click on the "Burn" button on the lower right to start burning your CDR.
